3 Genius Mason Jars Projects You Can Whip Up In Minutes!

Mason Jar Project No. 1: Glow In The Dark Mason Jars
- Pair of Scissors
Step 1: Cut The Tip Of Glowstick
Cut off the tip the glowstick and then pour the juice into the jar (include the glass rod that would come out inside the glowstick then just break it in half – it will activate the glow.
Note: Put something down on your work area just in case of any spill.
Step 2: Add Glitters
Add some glitter and close the lid. Shake it up.
Step 3: Turn Off All Lights
Turn off all the lights in your room and you’ll see your DIY glow in the dark mason jar! This is the perfect West Coast version of catching fireflies in a jar.

- Small Plastic Animals
- Craft Paint
- Hot Glue Gun
Step 1: Take The Primer
Take the primer and give your small plastic animals and the lids a nice light coat. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes and then give it a second light coat.
Step 2: Paint Your Toy Animal
Next, paint your little animal and the lid of the mason jar.
Step 3: Attach The Animal To Lid
Once the paint is dry, attach the animal to the lid. Use a hot glue gun and put a little drop on each of its feet. Then stick them on the lid and we’re done!
They are fun to make! You can put this little creature container in your bathroom and fill them with cotton balls and Q-tips.

- Crop-A-Dile or any tool to cut a hole
- Pump from a disposable soap dispenser
Step 1: Make A Hole
Make a hole in the center of the lid by using the Crop-A-Dile.
Step 2: Make Additional Punches
Make additional punches until you have a hole big enough to fit the pump in.
Step 3: Trace Around The Edge
Put the pump in and take a sharpie and trace around the edge just to have a guide to where to put the rest of the punches.
Step 4: Put The Pump In
Now that you have a hole wide enough to put the pump in. We suggest that you wear something to protect your fingers as the edges are very jagged.
Step 5: Add Some Soap
Time to add some soap!
