I honestly think that women love jewelry. We just have these personal ornaments in different sizes. Now, if you have all these trinkets stored in one place, then probably there are times that you couldn’t find the other pair of your earrings. I could imagine the frustration especially if you’re dying to use them at the very minute.

That happened to me countless times too, but I learned my lessons. Rather than just putting them all in one drawer,  I sorted them out in a vanity organizer. This way, I can easily locate them and avoid my sparkly pieces getting tangled with each other.

So let’s do this DIY Vanity organizer that will help you put your bling in one place. Are you excited? Now let’s get started!

 

Materials needed in making a vanity organizer:

Instructions:

Step 1: Shoe Box

Take your shoe box and trim all the sides to desired height.

 

Step 2: Black Fabric

At the back of the box, spray some adhesive and place the black fabric.

 

Step 3: Small Squares

Cut out small squares on all sides of the fabric to evenly cover each side of the box. Start gluing the fabric to the box with spray adhesive.

Step 4: Printed Fabric

Once done with step #3, take the printed fabric and place it inside the box. Adjust the fabric in the corners so that it’s easy to glue.

 

Step 5: Rudders

Make rudders using the leftover shoe box pieces.

 

Step 6: Covered Rudders

Cover the pieces with black fabric and add printed fabric to the other side.

 

Step 7: Glue

Now stick the rudders in and glue them in place using the hot glue gun.
